辖区内有楼盘「云峰花园」，社区由此得名。社区原属新华街道办事处，2013年12月根据粤民区〔2013〕18号文改归新雅街道管辖[1]。

荣誉[edit]

云峰社区在2024年11月被认定为广州市充分就业社区，另在2026年1月入选「2025年广州市高质量充分就业街镇社区（村）」认定名单[1]。
