韦涌村是广州市番禺区石壁街道辖下的行政村，在陈村水道东岸，隔水与顺德区勒竹相望，以水产养殖和花木种植为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村建于宋代。村名一度写作「围涌」，意为河涌环绕、围陆成村，后经考证应作「韦」，因先到此地聚居的是韦姓。[1]清代和民国时属番禺县沙湾司九如乡，中华人民共和国成立后归同风乡（钟村镇）。[1]韦姓后裔渐衰，后来从南雄珠玑巷迁来的方、雷、苏等姓兴旺，成为村里的大姓，聚居处分别称方地、雷地、苏地。[1]1987年设立村民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

村情写有辖区面积5.01平方千米，919户、3722人（该文未注年份）。[1]2019年9月，韦涌村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2024年11月被认定为广州市充分就业社区（村）。[1]

文化[edit]

韦涌的广东音乐和粤曲有较深的基础。粤剧演员叶丹青是韦涌村人，其女叶幼琪承「星腔」。村内的韦大小学设有韦弦民乐社和红豆粤剧社，被评为番禺区非物质文化遗产传承基地。[2]
