沧联社区在广州市黄埔区云埔街道，位于黄埔区东部，与开发区东区和增城区相邻，辖区面积约6.58平方千米。社区名由沧头村的「沧」和「联」字组成，「联」指沧头村与榕村、南兴、小迳、沙元下等合并。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年4月，番禺县改行小区小乡建制，设沧联乡，1955年归萝岗区；1957年2月分为沧头社和榕村社，1958年改称沧联社，其后为沧联生产大队，数度在南岗与萝岗两个人民公社之间转属。1984年改为沧联乡人民政府，1987年3月起称沧联村民委员会。黄埔区2002年8月1日撤镇设街，沧联村委会随之撤销，改设社区居民委员会，由荔联街道管辖；2018年改属云埔街道。[1][2]

经济[edit]

沧联股份经济联合社下辖13个经济社，下设经济发展总公司，名下有4家市场；园区引进的企业近200家，投资方来自台湾、香港、日本等地。辖内的东区时代城一带是黄埔区东部的商业中心。[1]

2019年9月，沧联社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
