名称与沿革[edit]

社区以辖区内较大的住宅小区科城花园命名，「科城」指广州科学城[1][2]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，市住房和城乡建设局把科城社区定为当年的绿色社区之一；2024年11月，社区入选充分就业社区（村）名单，为2024年度[1]。
