南石市社区是广州市黄埔区穗东街道下辖的社区，以辖区内的南石市村得名。社区地处黄埔区东部，与南湾社区、夏园社区相邻。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
社区名取自境内较大的居民点南石市村。据地名资料，清代这里先有石门市，随后附近又建起南安市，后来两市合并，各取一字而成“南石市”。[1]社区建立于2002年，名称沿用至今。[1]
人口民族[edit]
居委会的简介称，辖区常住人口四百余人、一百二十余户，另有外来人员两百余人，年份未注明。区内的单位有4家，包括化工、油库和塑料生产方面的企业。[1]
