金藤社区居委会设于2011年，2014年起接手管理保利西子湾小区，一直延续到现在。[1]
地名由来[edit]
社区管辖的是原南海藤厂旧址，名称取“藤”字，再冠以金沙的“金”字。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，金藤社区入选「广州市2021年绿色社区」；2024年11月获评「广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
