望北社区是广州市白云区嘉禾街道下辖的社区，属城乡结合区，名称来自它所管辖的望北经济联社区域[1]。社区是望岗黎氏聚居的北片，梓堂黎氏大宗祠位于这里[2][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

望岗黎氏分为望南、望北两支，西岭一支由望南迁入[2]。望北一支的始祖祠堂共有4间，名为梓堂、鼎兴、位七、康龄，据当地人介绍，其中康龄黎公祠已荒废，其余仍在[3]。

文化[edit]

梓堂黎氏大宗祠又称敦远堂，是望北黎姓族人的先祖祠，始建年份不详，据推断为清代建筑[2]。祠位于东胜街，建筑雕刻在白云区的祠堂中有自己的特点；祠内常有粤曲爱好者聚会唱曲[3]。鼎兴黎公祠就在它前面，当地人说鼎兴祠建得更早，后来梓堂一支人丁兴旺，才成为大宗祠[3]。

望北另有朝用黎公祠，建于清光绪年间，2017年的网文说它主要用作书画社[3]。黎氏家训“忠孝和睦、勤俭节约、好学上进”刻在祠内[2]。
