明德社区在广州市白云区同德街道，居委会设在明德新村内；它的前身是金德苑居委会。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1999年4月设立，最初叫金德苑居委会，2002年改叫明德居委会。[1]名称中的「明德」，取明白道德之重要、做有道德之人的寓意。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年11月，该社区获认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」；该社区获评「广州市2021年绿色社区」（2021年11月公布）。[1]
