青葵社区隶属海珠区江南中街道，名称来自辖内的青葵大街。[1] 社区原由青竹、青柳、青葵三个居委会组成，2002年3月，青竹、青柳两个居委会并入青葵居委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，青葵社区获广州市住建部门评为「广州市2021年绿色社区」；2024年1月，获命名「2023年全国示范性老年友好型社区」；2024年11月，入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」；2026年1月，又入选「2025年广州市高质量充分就业街镇社区（村）」。[1]
