花园新村社区是广州市越秀区白云街道下辖的社区，居委会设在花园新村小区，因此得名。2002年，二马路居委会并入后，仍沿用这个名称。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

上世纪50年代，居委会的名字是白云街第六居委会。博雅地名网列出的后续变动是：与第五居委会合并后称第三居委会，后来又同五居委分开、复称第六居委会，所注年份（1986年、1983年）先后颠倒，不能互相衔接。1988年起改称花园新村居委会；2002年，二马路居委会并入，名称不变。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，社区列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2024年11月认定为广州市充分就业社区。[1]
