东沙角社区是广州市越秀区珠光街道下辖的城市社区，属主城区[1]。社区居委会的办公地点在东沙角路，社区以此命名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

居委会1950年设立，初名第八居委会，隶德政南街道，其后几经改名，1988年起称东沙角居委会，1998年划归珠光街道。2002年与挹翠路居委会和东堤四马路居委会的一部分合并，同时改称社区居委会；2014年再把广舞台居委会挹翠路以东的地段接了过来，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广州市住房和城乡建设部门2021年11月确定其为绿色社区；2024年11月获广州市认定为充分就业社区。[1]
