历史沿革[edit]
1950年设第六居委会，隶德政南街道，1969年同第七居委会的部分地段合并为居民区，1980年改叫第四居委会，1988年起称东园路居委会。到1998年，社区改隶珠光街道，镇龙下街居委会随之并入；2002年改称社区居委会。2014年，湛塘路和万福东两个社区居委会也并了进来。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月获广州市认定为充分就业社区。[1]
