水荫南社区是广州市越秀区黄花岗街道下辖的社区，位于水荫路南片。[1]

沿革[edit]

水荫南居委会设立于1976年，归黄花岗街道；其后东山区在2005年并入越秀区，它随之改属越秀区。[1]

荣誉与社区建设[edit]

水荫南社区于2021年11月由广州市住建部门评定为2021年度的广州市绿色社区，2024年11月入选2024年度广州市充分就业社区名单。[1]社区内学童较多，社区党委在改造活动空间、使之适合儿童使用之外，还让儿童参与设计和绘制色彩鲜艳的墙绘，打造上学路上的一道风景；这项墙绘2024年正在进行。[2]
