区庄社区是广州市越秀区黄花岗街道下辖的社区，原为区庄村，设居委会后沿用村名。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

区庄原是广州城郊的岗地，由区姓族人聚居而成自然村落。[1]1983年区庄立交桥建成后，这里成了广州的繁华地段。[1]居委会的源头是街道1953年设立的第四居委会；1985年5月街道把它拆为七个，其中一个自1987年起叫区庄居委会；原环市东居委会在2002年并入它，名称未变。[1]

荣誉与社区建设[edit]

区庄社区于2021年11月由广州市住建部门评定为2021年度的广州市绿色社区，2024年11月入选2024年度广州市充分就业社区名单。2026年1月，社区获评2025年度的「广州市高质量充分就业街镇社区（村）」。[1]2024年，社区的墙绘项目正在进行。[2]
