七株榕社区属广州市越秀区，由光塔街道管辖，城乡分类为主城区。[1]社区居委会的办公点在七株榕巷，故以此为名；该巷因巷内曾种有七棵大榕树而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区居委会建于1954年，原是诗书街的居委会，文革期间曾冠以红书街之名，1983年复称诗书街居委会。2002年更名七株榕居委会；馥园巷居委会于2008年并入；2013年3月起归光塔街管。[1]

荣誉[edit]

列入「广州市2021年绿色社区」（2021年11月）；获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区」（2024年11月）。[1]
