历史沿革[edit]

百度百科称，「沙洛」这一地名在1951年首次见于记载；东沙街道的名称取自原东塱村与沙洛村。[1]

旧村改造[edit]

社区紧邻广州国际医药港，属东沙片区的联动控规单元，片区规划偏重商业与产业。[1]沙洛村的旧村改造已走到编制片区策划方案的一步；2025年1月，批下1.73公顷用于医药港经济发展的留用地，拟作现代都市型工业集聚区。[1]

荣誉与活动[edit]

2024年11月，社区列入「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单。[2]2024年5月举办过公益环保集市，2025年4月办过亲子彩绘活动。[1]
