罗涌社区属广州市荔湾区冲口街道，是该街道的一个城乡结合区社区，在街道的东南角，辖区约0.6平方千米，居委会设在罗冲村106号。[1][2]社区建在原罗涌村一带，村中曾有一条产螺的河涌，叫「螺涌」，后来写成「罗涌」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

罗涌村清代中期建村，1949年前隶属番禺县崇文二十四乡。1990年与坑口同设村委会，2002年改制后，由坑口居委会析出，单独成立罗涌社区居委会。[1]

人口[edit]

百度百科称，辖内住着5890名常住居民，其中有户籍的1814人。[2]

社区建设[edit]

社区在2007年被列为广州市环境重点整治社区，也是广东省的村改居试点之一，建有综合服务楼，内设村民活动中心和社区居委会等。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，罗涌社区被广州市住房和城乡建设局确定为「广州市2021年绿色社区」；2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
