杏花社区属广州市荔湾区冲口街道，是该街道的一个社区，居委会设在陇西直街60号之一。[1]社区名称有一则相传的来历：清道光年间，此地的名医邓大林乐于施药，穷人付不起诊金，只请他们栽一株杏树，年深日久成了杏树林，人称「杏林庄」。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，杏花社区被广州市住房和城乡建设局确定为「广州市2021年绿色社区」；2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
