福源村在康厝畲族乡境内。村前有一片石竹林，早先称石竹原；大队成立后，村民取寓意幸福吉祥的「福原」之名，后改为福源。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年时此地归社洋乡。之后随社洋公社，1966年在康厝公社下设福原大队，1984年设福原村委会，其后写作福源。[1]
