利洋村处在溪尾镇西北的高山地带，与松罗乡接壤，海拔560米，离镇政府约9公里，到福安市区约66公里。下辖5个自然村。[1]
地名与历史沿革[edit]
村址处在田洋之中，村名取居民期盼生活顺遂之意。原称孟洋。[1]
此前1950年村子属下白石区，1961年并入利洋小公社。1966年起隶属溪尾公社并设利洋大队，至1984年才改为村委会。[1]
据记载，村中杨氏始祖于1354年迁来定居，留下杨氏宗祠、宫庙和古井等建筑。[1]
文化[edit]
2009年和2011年，村党支部两次被评为先进党支部；2015年，村获评征兵工作先进村。[1]
