黄岐社区是下白石镇镇区的居民社区，位于镇区中心，自古是商贸口岸，交通便利。1984年下白石镇建镇时同时设立居民委员会，名称沿用至今。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
黄岐社区原称下岐居委会。因与下岐村委会重名，且村中黄姓居多，改称黄岐居委会。[1]
人口[edit]
据博雅地名网，社区下设8个居民小组，共485户、1417人，居民分散居住于镇区各街道，多从事个体经商和手工艺。[1]
社区事业[edit]
社区是镇区内唯一的社区工作站，设有图书室、科普室和儿童之家，常请福安市图书馆人员下乡宣讲。2018、2020、2022年三度获评福建省全民阅读示范点；2021年，社区取得第十四届福安市文明单位的称号。[2]
