秀峰村位于社口镇，是福建省第一批省级传统村落之一。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村外溪边旧有七八座秀丽的小山峰，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年此地属秀龄乡，称秀峰村；1958年划入秀龄管理区，1961年属秀龄小公社。1978年分出单独设立大队，1984年改称秀峰村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

秀峰村在2015年10月公布的福建省第一批省级传统村落之列；2019年6月列入第五批中国传统村落名录；2021年11月，秀峰村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2022年10月，省农业农村厅将秀峰村认定为第二批乡村治理示范村镇；2025年5月，秀峰村列入美丽乡村示范村创建名单（福建省）。[1]
