坑坪村位于潭头镇北部山区，辖十三个自然村，离镇政府驻地约18公里，离福安市区约34公里[1]。
地名由来[edit]
村庄被大山环绕，形状像一个大坑，故名坑坪[1]。
人口与产业[edit]
博雅地名网记载全村302户、1200人，未注明统计年份。主要经济作物为茶叶[1]。2020年12月，坑坪村入选「2019年度福建省一村一品示范村」（茶叶）名单[1]。
沿革[edit]
1958年8月，农业生产合作社改为生产大队，同时设立坑口生产大队。1983年10月恢复乡建制，生产大队更名为坑坪村；1984年撤销坑口生产大队，另设坑坪村民委员会[1]。
