上宅村位于柘荣县西北部，与浙江省泰顺县仕阳乡山头芦村交界，以河为界，距英山乡政府约15公里，距柘荣县城约26公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村庄原在一条水坑的尾端，后迁到较高的地方，故名上宅。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子海拔约500米，气候温和，年降雨量在1200至1400毫米之间。与泰顺相邻的河段时而平缓，时而湍急。[2]

经济[edit]

村民的家庭收入主要来自粮食、太子参、畜牧和劳务输出，太子参与茶叶是主要经济作物。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1934年，上宅一带有过苏维埃政府。1975年置上宅大队，1984年大队撤销，改设村民委员会。[1]
