西坪村是福建省宁德市柘荣县宅中乡下辖的行政村，距乡政府10公里，海拔220米。[1]

地名[edit]

东溪与西溪在此汇流，冲积出东西两列平坦的溪滩，村址位于西侧，故名西坪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

红军时期此村设立过苏维埃政府。1965年组建西坪大队，1984年大队撤销，换成西坪村村民委员会。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村辖4个自然村，分为13个村民小组。全村共有234户，935人，在村常住610人，外出流动325人。村域土地面积10982亩，其中林地10304亩。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年2月，西坪村在福建省第三批省级传统村落的名录中有名。2020年12月，村子入选「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」。2021年12月，西坪村获「2021年度福建省森林村庄」称号。[1]

2022年9月，省农业农村厅推介西坪村，列为「2022年福建省美丽休闲乡村」。2022年12月，省爱国卫生运动委员会授予西坪村「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
