1965年设立高峰大队，1984年撤销大队，改设高峰村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄海拔900米，土地总面积14852.1亩，其中林地7732亩，竹林约1100亩。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村194户、768人，常住430人，分为10个村民小组。群众主要姓氏为林、张、游、李，村民主要收入来自茶叶、白术和太子参。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内东山寺历史悠久，村中的月亮湖与小东山杜鹃也吸引附近的游客前来。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，此村被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2026年1月，又被确定为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
