地理环境[edit]
全村耕地525亩，山地5700亩。霞泰公路横穿桃坑、围埕两个自然村，其余五个自然村均通机耕路。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的由来：村边小河滩上有一块石头，形状像桃子，故名桃坑。[3]
1934年，村中成立苏维埃政府。1952年划为桃坑乡，隶第一区；1958年改设桃坑大队，1961年转为公社，1984年大队撤销，改为村民委员会。[4]
村属老区基点村。马立峰、曾志与叶飞等人曾在村中从事地下活动；1935年的桃坑战役，如今村中立有「桃坑战役纪念碑」。[2]
