溪口村位于乍洋乡东部，村名取自两条溪水的汇合处，村内有袁氏宗祠与永安桥等文物。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年并入长玉乡，1952年划入长岐乡，1958年转入岐洋乡，同年10月更名长岐大队。1980年另设溪口大队，1984年撤销大队，改设村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村庄位于乡境东部，东侧邻接福鼎的高山村，北侧是长岐村与凤里村，西侧与石山村、前楼村相接，南边连着潘溪一带的两个村庄。村内有两座电站。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

溪口永安桥横跨玉山溪，为半圆形石拱桥。明代已有此桥，清同治二年（1863年）经重修。桥全长36.22米，桥面宽5.23米，石拱净跨23.76米，拱高11.82米。2009年列为第七批福建省文物保护单位。[3][4]

袁氏宗祠面阔三间，进深两进，中轴线上依次为大门、下厅（连戏台）、中厅和上厅。祠内现存木雕匾额约十九面，年代自清嘉庆年间延续到民国，其中有民国时期政界人士的题字。2009年列为第七批福建省文物保护单位。[5]

村内的溪口明代古城墙据称为防备倭寇而建，长数百米，墙高壕深。乡境溪流上的石碇步数量居全县之首，溪口的石碇步建于清咸丰三年（1853年），在县内碇步中位列第二长。[2]

文化[edit]

2017年8月，溪口村列入福建省第二批省级传统村落名录；2019年6月，列入第五批中国传统村落名录。县政府网站记载溪口村被评为「市级金牌旅游村」。[1][2]

2021年2月，溪口村入选省级文明村镇社区（2018至2020年度）；同年11月，省爱卫办命名溪口村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

著名人物[edit]

袁海，字深文，生于元代，被视为村中袁姓的始祖。元末他捐粮赈济饥民，又与兄弟讨贼保城，因功被提任福宁州同知，明朝建立后归顺。[2]
