双城镇是福建省宁德市柘荣县的镇，也是县人民政府驻地。镇域位于县境中部，地处县城关，镇名取自境内的上城、下城两座城堡，本地建制可追溯至宋代。[1][2]

104国道穿过镇区，全县最大的河流龙溪流经镇境，镇内有东狮山、双城城堡等名胜古迹。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据县政府介绍，本地原名柘洋，建制始于宋代。明正统六年（1441年）设巡检司。[1]

1939年起此地设镇，镇名定为双城。建国后建制几经更替，曾改设为区和人民公社；1980年8月恢复为镇，延续至今。[1]

2012年12月，镇子获环境保护部认定为「2010—2011年度国家级生态乡镇」。2015年5月，双城镇被省委、省政府授予第十二届「文明镇」，2018年6月蝉联省级文明镇，2021年2月获评第十四届省级文明乡镇。司法部授予「全国模范人民调解委员会」称号，2023年经申报，由国家林草局下属的联合会认定为「中国慢生活休闲体验区」。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

全镇区域面积10.86平方千米，其中建城区面积4平方千米。镇域的平均海拔为660米，气候属中亚热带海洋性季风类型，年均气温15.5至16℃。[1]

东西向的柘霞公路可直达霞浦，104国道穿过镇区。境内的龙溪穿行而过，灌溉良田，北部为虎山。[1]

经济[edit]

镇内有广生堂、力捷迅、海诚等重点药业企业，药业是「闽东药城」建设的重点所在。另有花茶和刀剪等行业的企业，其中金剑剪具有限公司曾当选「中国刀剪三十强企业」。[1]

文化[edit]

镇内的民俗和民间艺术活动有马仙信俗、剪纸、布袋戏、评话与灯谜等，牛肉丸、泥鳅面、乌饭和鼠曲糍是镇上的传统小吃。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇内不可移动文物有29处，其中省级文物保护单位2处，即双城城堡和游朴墓；县级文物保护单位6处，包括「柘荣革命烈士陵园」「南街仙庙」「袁天禄祠堂」「南街临水宫」「七星池遗址」和「中共柘荣县党小组旧址」；另有文物保护点21个。[1]

双城城堡由上城和下城两部分组成，隔龙溪相望。下城于元至正二十一年（1361年）修建，如今留存东门「宣寅门」以及东边城墙的南、北两段，长226米；上城建于明嘉靖三十八年（1559年），现存城墙长525.7米。2009年11月16日，省政府将双城城堡列为第七批福建省文物保护单位。[3][4]

游朴墓在镇北郊大坪，柘荣一中大门西侧，为明代墓葬。墓建于明万历二十三年（1595年），万历二十七年（1599年）下葬，以青石砌筑，墓碑高2.3米，墓平面呈风字形。[1][2]

东狮山是太姥山的主峰，海拔1479米，为省级风景名胜区。城内的仙屿公园与仙屿鳌岛同在镇中，鳌岛历史上是闽东道教胜地。[1][7]

著名人物[edit]

袁天禄（1331年—1367年），字礼文，号东山，明朝开国功臣，出生于福宁州柘洋（今柘荣县城）。元末任福宁州同知，后归附朱元璋，1367年在集庆（今南京）去世，时年三十六岁。[5][6]

元至正二十二年（1362年），袁天禄回到柘洋，召集乡人修筑城墙，于当年完工，城墙今为双城城堡的一部分。[5]

袁天禄祠堂位于双城镇北街，始建于明隆庆元年（1567年），旧称「左丞祠」。2003年3月，该祠被列为县级文物保护单位。[5]
