双城村是广东省肇庆市德庆县永丰镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西南部，距圩镇约6.3公里，下辖3个村民小组。[1]
名称与沿革[edit]
据传明代洪武年间建村，村落坐落在形似城堡的龙山两端之间，故名双城。[1] 新中国成立前叫十八保，解放初属文宪乡。1958年设双城生产大队，1983年称双城乡，1986年称双城村委会，1989年称双城管理区，1998年之后又叫双城村委会。[1]
地理环境与经济[edit]
所载总人口约1700人，耕地共2142亩，水田占1490.5亩，作物有水稻、柑橘，也出花生和水果，还养鱼，山林出产松脂与杂木。[1] 村内房屋多为砖木平房，另有少量上世纪60年代以前的泥砖屋。[1] 双城村是德庆县老区贫困村之一，村集体原先几乎没有收入，近年在省、市、县扶持下逐步发展集体经济。[1]
2019年9月，双城村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
