下楼村位于福建省宁德市周宁县泗桥乡西南约5公里处，海拔约900米，是村委会驻地。村名来自建村时的位置，村子在泗桥村的下方。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋初此地属宁德县关隶镇。明代划归寿宁县。民国时村所在地为寿宁县纯池乡的一部分，1950年划入寿宁县第六区。[1][2]

1958年改归坂坑乡，1961年村中设立大队，1984年转为村委会。下辖下楼与下山头两个自然村。[1][2]

村中居民于民国时由礼门乡楼坪村迁入，此后聚居于依山而建的村落中。[1][2]

居民以张、何、吴、叶姓为主。[1][2]
