历史沿革[edit]
村名古称桃洋，因山坑多桃树而得名，后又称桃坑洋，今称桃坑。[2]
郑氏先人在清康熙十三年（1674年）从浦源迁来定居，其后张氏先人也从政和县迁入。[1]
1933年2月，村中一带（今中村）成立「闽东北工农红军第三支队」。同年3月，该支队攻打禾溪民团，随后在半村建立苏维埃政府。[2]
地理与人口[edit]
村域面积9.38平方公里，海拔792米，辖6个自然村。[3]
1650人住在318户中，全村分为10个村民小组，党员35名。[3]
村中有7名革命烈士在新中国成立前牺牲，博雅地名网列有其名。[1]
产业[edit]
村内农业以高山种植为特点，锥栗、葡萄、茶叶、黄精与地瓜干都有种植。[3]
名胜与习俗[edit]
千年古刹灵峰寺坐落村旁。该寺在宋淳化元年（990年）已存在，明弘治十二年（1499年）曾经重修，寺前建有海会塔。[3][2]
村中的木拱廊桥七星桥，与灵峰寺同为村中的主要古迹。[2]
桃坑村有「烧火树」习俗，是道教斋醮科仪，每年正月十五、二月二举行，祈求国泰民安、五谷丰登。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2014年，桃坑村被评为福建省传统村落；2015年10月入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」；2016年11月列入「第四批中国传统村落」，2017年11月获评国家级文明村。[2][3]
