后洋村是七步镇的行政村，村委会驻后洋自然村，西面与坑源底村隔山相望。村内只有一个自然村，林地面积较大，近年形成林、茶、果、牧、养相结合的产业路子。[1][2]

村名原为「后仓底」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1980年分出设大队，1984年改设村委会。[1]

1983年，村民黄振芳带领全家在速生林中套种马铃薯、魔芋和茶叶，三年间造林1207亩，此后林地扩展到7300多亩。[3]

村内有林地7307亩，主产无患子、水稻和茶叶。[1]
