上洋村在周宁县西北部，仙风山脚下，东洋溪边上。它距县城5公里，离浦源镇政府1公里。村落面积约1.8平方千米，共16个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1955年9月，上洋从浦源乡分出，设上洋乡，次年又并回浦源乡。1959年1月，划归端源公社，设上洋大队。[2]

1963年，村改隶浦源乡，设上洋村民委员会。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村子坐落在鹫峰山脉末段的大麻岭延伸带上，海拔917米。南边是浦源村，西边是溪坪村，东边端源村与之接壤，北边连着泗桥乡。[1]

人口民族[edit]

村中1000多人在外经商或打工，去向主要是上海、江苏、广州，行业以建材钢贸、超市为多。[1]

文化[edit]

村里先后获得「省园林式村」称号，也获得「敬老模范村」称号；县委、县政府还授予过「小康达标村」「文明村」。[1]
