梧桐村是革命老区村，老村位于咸村镇东北部约8公里的山陵处，傍山而建，地势较陡，视野开阔。[1]

因山势与地质原因，梧桐与吾凤楼两处都是典型的地质灾害点，村民此后陆续搬迁。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1979年，梧桐、吾凤楼、岗后三村合并为梧桐大队；1985年7月改为村委会。[2]

1998年，吾凤楼自然村迁至咸村上芝田公路旁；2007年，梧桐主村与岗后自然村迁至乾头洋北段，全村至此集体搬迁至咸村镇区。[1]

经济[edit]

村民收入以务农为主，主要农林产品有水稻、茶叶、毛竹与木材。[1]

吾凤楼老村址的钨铁矿储量丰富。[1]
