历史沿革[edit]
杨氏先祖自清流县迁入，于雍正年间（1723–1735年）在此定居拓建。1935年起归周墩特种区周墩联保处，1940年改由周墩镇虎坂保管辖，1945年隶狮城镇。[2]
1950年划入坂头乡，1956年3月改隶龙安乡。1958年9月，此地设虎冈大队，归端源公社，1960年转县农场；1962年改属城关镇。1980年9月复设虎冈大队，归城郊公社。1984年6月，大队管委会撤销，村民委员会建立，隶狮城镇。[2]
经济[edit]
村中铸造技艺历史悠久。博雅地名网称，清雍正年间杨氏先祖引入铸锅技术，所铸铁锅锅壁薄而耐用，号称“东洋锅”。民国时周边村庄的铸造厂有5家。市场上铝锅、铁锅供应增多后，东洋锅的产量逐渐减少，锅炉厂转营翻砂。[2]
2007年，县里在村西划设了虎冈工业集中区。[2]
