广地村处在芹洋乡东边，有省道202穿村而过。距乡政府所在地4公里，离县城19公里，海拔543米。全村325户，1396人，辖看牛山、野坑、上坂3个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
此处原为张姓始居之地，村旁有一块小平地叫“张广地”，解放后简称为广地。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村中朱姓分为两支：下朱一支的始祖为朱少一，上朱一支的始祖朱培据称是朱熹之后，宋末元初从建阳迁入，比下朱晚了百余年。民国元年至1949年为九岭乡广地保。1958年设芹洋区光荣公社，驻地在广地；1959年撤区并社后归芹洋公社。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
村子属高山地貌，有一条小溪穿村，村内地势较为平坦开阔。板栗种植136亩，茶叶625亩，实际耕种的土地有622亩，耕地总数为1987.6亩。[1]
文化[edit]
2018年，本村获寿宁县第十四届“文明村”称号；另有2023年福建省卫生村的命名，时间为2024年1月。[1]
