山底村位于乡境西北，距乡政府7公里，共有7个自然村：山底、岩头坂、石落、底墓、北山、横兰岗、岭头坂。全村189户，727人。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子周围多高山，村址位于山脚，故取名山底。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清乾隆十九年（1754年），夏姓先人迁入。新中国成立初属托溪区九岭乡，1958年公社化时归芹洋区东风公社；1984年撤社建乡，另设山底村委会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

底墓、北山、岭头坂三处已无人居住，住户迁往外地。村里设7个村民小组，劳动力560人，其中360人外出务工。[1]

经济[edit]

茶叶、毛竹和木材是主要经济作物。[1]
