上东村位于坑底乡西面，村部离乡政府约4千米[1]。村子海拔1009米，居民292户、1068人[1]。全村辖10个村民小组，耕地约2116.5亩，林地4481.8亩[2]。

经济[edit]

村中种植的花菜、白菜、小尖椒等反季节蔬菜，年产量可达几十万斤，外销至浙江温州、上海与福建厦门[2]。村子海拔高，夏天的气温比福州、宁德低，适合种这些菜[2]。近年村里还把撂荒地重新耕种，种了100多亩水稻[2]。

上东村是较早种植香菇的村子之一，90年代末香菇生产让不少人靠它致富，至今仍是一些家庭的主要收入[2]。
