后洋村位于清源镇西北部，处在高山小盆地中，村委会驻地海拔806米。北边与鳌阳镇接壤，西边靠托溪乡，南边到芹洋乡，东边为韶托村。村辖后洋、元地、岭头三个自然村，主村为后洋。村子是革命老区村，村人叶渊炎于1934年广地一役中失踪，之后被追认为烈士。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

叶渊炎1933年投身南区游击队，次年在广地一役中下落不明，之后被追认为烈士。新中国成立后，本村获得革命老区村的认定。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村子依托猪母岗，对着笔架山，村前有小溪流过，洋面面积300余亩。全村地域面积7.04平方千米，耕地约1493亩，另有大片山场与茶园。[1][2]

有乡道与外界相连，经202省道可通往各处。[2]
