本村为凤阳镇政府所在地，处在寿宁县南部，靠近锣鼓山，海拔652米。全村辖5个自然村。2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

本村旧名阜宅、棠洋，因处在一片长形平地的上端，又称长洋头。相传村中有一池，凤鸟曾在池中沐浴，故称凤池；山形如双凤飞翔，中隔长平地，又叫凤洋，亦称凤翔。文人取“双凤朝阳”之意，改名凤阳。[1]

据载，明洪武二十四年（1391年），刘若参由福安迁来此地定居，他的后人至今600多年，已繁衍24世。坑头郑氏的始祖于宋代末年迁入，后垅郑氏的始祖于明正统年间迁居此地。[3]

清代本村属南乡，民国时期归凤阳乡管辖。明景泰六年（1455年）寿宁设县，村子随之归寿宁县。1934年凤阳乡的乡公所便设在本村。[4]

1952年起本村归第七区，当年区公所设于凤阳村。此后经历东星公社、凤阳公社、凤阳区等建制变化，1984年改社为乡，村委会定名为凤阳乡凤阳村委会。2015年，凤阳乡改镇。[3][4][5]

经济[edit]

村民收入主要靠种植葡萄、水稻、茶叶，兼营商业和外出务工。村党支部带头发展葡萄和茶叶种植，经营上采用协会、合作社与农户相结合的方式。[2]

文化[edit]

博雅地名网称本村是北路戏的发祥地，民间另有凤阳镇北路戏剧团。[2][6]
