人口民族[edit]
村中以苏姓为主，据村中记述，明永乐年间苏姓始祖迁居此地，至今已传承十九代。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
村中苏氏宗祠于清乾隆二年重建，建筑造型别致；2005年该祠堂被收入《中国祠堂大观》一书。[2]
解放前夕，红军游击队多次到村中活动，十余名村民加入游击队，负责送粮、送信与放哨，村庄因而被列为革命老区。[2]
文化[edit]
村中的庶民戏流传至今。省艺术研究所研究人员曾于2006年9月前来考察本村的庶民戏古文献。[2]
荣誉[edit]
山墩村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
