旺坑村是福建省宁德市屏南县棠口镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域东南部，距县城和镇政府所在地约20公里，地处高山地带，平均海拔约650米。[1][2]
村名的来历是一段传说：当地风水很好，建村必定兴旺，村址又在山坑处，故称旺坑。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年村庄划入棠口公社，称旺坑大队；1984年改由棠口乡管辖，设旺坑村委会；2018年撤乡设镇，村委会改隶棠口镇。[1]
2020年，村庄被评为「第十四届县级文明村」，村党组织同年获宁德市委授予「2020年度先进基层党组织」称号。[2]
经济[edit]
村民主要种植板栗、辣椒、圣女果，并生产滑菇；近年新发展黄桃、杨梅等果品。[2]
