新桥村是屏南县长桥镇下辖的行政村，与长新村、上牛山村等相邻。[1] 村子原称“四保”，1963年改称新桥，村名来自公路修建时架设的一座新桥。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年，此村隶属长桥区长桥乡；1958年归长桥公社，称新桥大队。1984年改设长桥乡新桥村委会，1993年撤乡建镇后为长桥镇新桥村委会。[2]
