东溪村位于古田县北部，是凤埔乡的一个行政村。东与平湖镇云梯村交界，南与官亭村相接，西与西溪村相邻，北与旧镇村相连。村庄距县城约35公里，距乡政府约20公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是村前有一条溪由北向东流，故名东溪。本村旧称二十一都。[1]

地理环境[edit]

海拔约700米。村北的最高山峰称北山寨，旧时是赴京赶考的必经之地。村中另有一处奇石群，俗称「十八石」，石体似山，形态各异。[1]

人口民族[edit]
