后洋村位于黄田镇北部，距镇区约22公里，村子下辖4个自然村。村名来自村子建在一片田洋的后面。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早在1949年，这里已设后洋村。1958年组建后洋大队，1970年改归莪洋公社；1984年划入莪洋镇，村名一直沿用到现在；1990年起属黄田镇，直至今日。[1]

经济[edit]

近年来，村民以种植茶树菇和香菇为主，兼营花卉养殖。[1]
