宝溪村位于古田县最南端，与闽清县相邻，属城西街道，距古田城关约13公里，海拔280米。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名因前面的溪流既可养鱼，又可发电，故取“宝”字命名。[1] 1984年改设宝溪村委会；此前1982年属松吉公社，1959年归城关公社的宝溪大队。[1]
地理环境[edit]
古田溪下游（旧称南路溪）的古水道沿村前绕行，历史上是沿溪放流木排的主要通道。[2] 村北约3公里处有龙井瀑布的旧址，古田溪二级电站修建之后，瀑布的壮观景象已不复存在，春季水涨时仍可见瀑布。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
沿溪西面的古道是古时古田县城通往水口、福州的驿道，村东的宝溪亭旁还能见到当年茶亭、客栈的遗迹。[2] 村西有汤洋温泉，汤洋林上的险石顶蝙蝠洞曾是游击队南路支队的活动据点。[2]
文化[edit]
2020年12月，宝溪村以脐橙入选福建省一村一品示范（2019年度）；2021年11月，村被命名为福建省卫生村。[1] 2005年，“宝溪脐橙”经国家工商行政管理总局批准注册为商标。[2]
