吉兆村位于古田县城西街道南面，离城关约1.5公里，属城市规划区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建村时取吉利兴旺、平安之意，村名由此而来。[1] 村原属松吉大队，1975年独立设为吉兆大队，1984年改为吉兆村委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
京台高速公路与省道202的过境线穿村而过，交通便利。[1]
文化[edit]
村内有福主庙，供奉地方神连公、蔡公和临水夫人。每年农历正月十五为祭祀香期，届时有小型庙会。[1]
