城西街道是福建省宁德市古田县的一个街道，位于县城西部，因地处县城驻地的西边而得名。[1]

街道于2005年3月挂牌对外办公，由古田县原有的新城镇与松吉乡等建制调整而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

2004年，古田县撤销新城镇、松吉乡、湖滨乡，设立城东、城西两个街道办事处。[3] 维基百科引用的福建省人民政府批复日期为2004年4月5日，博雅地名网记宁德市政府文件的日期为同年10月29日，两处日期并存。[2][3] 2005年3月，城西街道挂牌对外办公。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

街道的主要地段有新翠公园与批发街，学校和住宅比较集中；古田县新城中学、玉田中学、实验小学，新华书店和县医院也在辖区之内。[3]

辖区内的古迹分布在各村：松台村的吉祥塔，罗峰村的罗峰摩崖石刻群、怡云山馆和魏雪馨烈士故居，以及曹洋村的曹洋龙井。[4][5][6]
