大洋村位于水门畲族乡东部，与牙城镇交界，离乡政府驻地7公里。全村辖6个自然村，分7个村民小组，有232户966人，党员22人[1]。村名由大坪与王家洋两村各取一字而成[1]。

地理环境[edit]

丘陵红黄土适宜烟叶、蔬菜、水稻、茶叶、林果与竹业。耕地920亩（水田700亩、旱地220亩），山林5560亩，茶叶650亩，果园250亩，森林覆盖率76%，竹林资源丰富[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，本村被福建省爱卫办评为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1958年先设大洋生产大队；1984年政社分开后，大队改称大洋村，并组建村民委员会[1]。
